A concept paper for Kogelo Development Centre is complete. An Agro-tourism strategy has been developed.
In Chyullu Hills, development of the extensive lava-cave system is underway. Accessibility is being improved and a campsite has been established near the Kisula lava cave. As a niche product, cave exploration can be enhanced in this world famous cave system.
In Longonot, the climbing trail is being stabilized and improved so as to enhance the visitor experience and improve safety.
The Hell’s gate Spa and swimming centre (Therapeutic tourism) at Olkaria is complete. This is a project being undertaken with Kengen to utilize the hot springs and geothermal resources within Hell’s Gate National park.
